A second angle render from the opening bell of the watery Chicken Fight, if only just to show that I did indeed pose all those lady-fingers.
Actually the posing in this scene didn''t take long, maybe only fifteen minutes. I posed the first pair, then simply mirrored the pose on the other pair, leaving only a few tiny details (namely, those fingers) to adjust. There was setting the lights (three lights were used) and finding camera angles (in these tight pre-made fixed sets, I find trudging old Dolly Cam is usually the most reliable choice). Yet what actually took the longest while making this scene was fiddling with the water texture in the pool, as the default which came with the pool model was unsatisfactory, and I had to make something myself. All the posette characters are part of my standard retinue, so they were all ready-made and able to act at a moment''s notice in whatever scene might have been spontaneously imagined.
For those not familiar with the lingo of such hand-wrestling as depicted here, basically the ladies are playing a game often called ''Mercy,'' in which contestants clasp hands. By manipulation of grips and wrist-twisting, each attempts to wrangle the other into conceding an end the friendly match, typically by asking for ''mercy,'' saying ''surrender,'' or being the first to ''chicken out.'' When played on dry land, the game is called Mercy; when played in a swimming pool with additional partners as shown here, it''s instead usually called ''Chicken Fight.'' It''s just like classical wrestling, except using the hands only and maintaining a fixed stance throughout the match. |
