how do they even know when to have a night shift in outer space? ).
The bridge set is looking good here, especially the consoles. After seeing your previous image, I was finally motivated to examine for myself the ptrope bridge model that I've had collecting digital dust for ages. I don't know what it's like in your engine, but initial opening of the pz3 in Poser 4 results in a very dark set. All it had was a few spotlights set at very narrow illumination angles, so the first thing I had to do before I could even inspect it was redo all the lights. No problemo there, though, and nice that the ceiling can be moved away to afford a general illumination from above (too many models of enclosed spaces don't offer that convenience). Again I'm only speaking of Poser 4, but the set would require a lot of materials work for P4. It renders with a pronounced cartoonish (flat, oversaturated) look, which I guess is what the original author intended as he was using it to make cartoon animations. The materials would be easy enough to adjust for more realism in surfaces, but there look to be scores (maybe hundreds) of them. I never make Trek images, so I doubt I'll ever bother fiddling with all that.
Anyway, I guess I'm saying I appreciate all the work you must have put into setting up this scene. Good job!
