I was making a test images for my short animation and i discovered how to do fog with it. Do you want a tutorial on how to create a simple world like in bryce but then inside Poser?

I'm running Poser 6 here, and if it works for me I'm game.

You don't even have to ask When I tried to render a decent fog the result was a really strange thing ...

BTW I really like the scene, it fits well for halloween

Also, I would not have guessed it about bryce looking so foggy all the time.

yes this is really easy, you can even do this in Poser 5. for the fog you only have to do 2 things and thats to tick off a setting and a color thats all. I will be prepering a scene so you can get the same results.

Ive made a simple scene, i will upload it in a couple of minutes. I even included animated light:

if you slide through the frames the position of the light changes and also the mood of the scene. The light is a bit purple, you can of course change the color( dont change the other light, its a soft AO light)

 

here is the scene, whatever you do, dont zoom out too much otherwise you will render the HDRI sphere. Always zoom in till you dont see it anymore. Because it is about the inside of the sphere.

To create the fog is so easy, remember you can change the color of the fog to, depending on your scene and also even change the clouds in the scene i uploaded above.

Just go to atmosphere in the material room:



And there you will have fog. It is a simple but fun trick.

it will look even better if you change the

::volume_stepsize:: to 1,500000
