Post Site slowness and migration

Hi friends...

Since a couple of days ago I noticed a very annoying site slowness. I din't know if it's due to my internet connection or if it's a server problems, but I red messages from you saying the same thing, so I contacted the server masters at Godaddy.com. They said that Posetteforever is data intensive (  8-[  8-[  8-[ ) and they offerred me to put the database on a new faster server   :bigrinnin: ....

I'll accept, but the problem is that the site will be down for a while during the transfer, I don't know how much time it will take.

Now I'm doing a full backuo of the site before sending the response to them: All is very slow, I'm very hungry :X ! I can' connect to the database... All is a crap :X !!!

I'm very, very disappointed :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:....

I don't know why but it seems that on every server we go there are problems, problems, problems...

I was working on the site, every time I look for a page change with a refresh it took one minute or longer to open it... I can't work in this way...

I'm trying to backup the database and the page refuses to open... sigh...

and a bottle of booze!

Cheer up Davide we've all been there and it's not fun, but it will get better and if it doesn't we will all come over and get you drunk, mess up your house, leave rubber shicken poop on your sofa, raid your fridge, clog up your toilet with rotton tuna tarts and beer, let the beavers loose in your neighborhood, and hide all your dirty socks, then my friend you will see that this webpage slowness is nothing to be sad about  :bigrinnin:

Yah, you know how that rubber shicken poop is. Once it happens it's hard to get it to stop bounceing.
But I'll take the booze for clean up reasons just in case. :bigrinnin:  O:)
