Post Site's downtime...

Hi

As I already announced in the forum I'm nearly ready to upgrade the site and it will be done on

Wednesday, June 8 2005 (corresponding to my free day...lol)

So during the upgrade Posetteforever will be down: I don't know for how much time but it would take some hours or the whole day, starting at about 8 a.m. GMT time (european time zome).

Sorry for any inconvenience , in any case PF will be back soon (I hope...)

Thanks for you work.

From what I have seen of the new site, it looks good and seems to function well but of course I didn't get to test everything but what I saw of it, I liked.

Update: All is nearly finished, I had to fine-tune some things...

The update will take a long because the database differs for many fields and I've to do a manual work to transfer the data... And I've to move a lot of files too, like the photos...

Anyway there will be some advantages, for example the album will follow the user's preferred theme. We'll have two theme at the beginning, one "white" (suBsilver) and one "black" (subBlack) both fully functional...

Once reopened I think to make a start page for the things to do for you: erase cookies with our famouse cookies page and feel the "security question" which can unlock you account in case someone tries to hack it, it's someting like Q:"what is the name of your cat ?" A:"burpo"
You'll decide the question and the answer...

The new features will enclude the phpBB security package which will be able to stop a lot of hacking attempts like DDOS or php exploits...
