Re: The album rules

First of all Robert, I said that it was my fault not to have been present in the album and watched the picture myself before someone has to complain about it. If someone PM me it's a personal thing and at last I have the only and all the responsability for the decisions. If I would have watched the pictures before I would have done the same, no matter what. it was not a complain about the author but a complain about how the picture was made, with real people naked etc..
And it's obvious that the complain goes to me, it asked only if the picture was under the TOS, and it wasn't (my decision).
No guts to show to someone from someone else.
Assuming that I'm not "the god" and maybe my point of view could not be the right thing, so I needed to discuss about it with my trusted and older friends here, privately. I had to take sad decisions myself in the past, this is only a fresh breeze in comparison, and I don't want to be alone this time, it's not a group against another, but at least this is not even a democracy, it has never been anywhere on the net, sorry.
We're talking only of the unapprovation of some too hard-to-show-here picture, not the discussion about the value of that kind of art or about the artist. I never mentioned anyone, I talked to the authors in private and I'm sure that you have not discussed the matter with him because he has not yet red my message.
In conclusion Robert I hope for you and your group a happy future with your new site, I hardly can bear the "appreciation" words written by some of you in the last hours, for what concerns me, if something happens to a friend of mine I don't take the gun and begin to shot but I analyze the situation with a open mind. And if you think so you where wrong thinking that here all the kind of pictures were allowed no matter what they were showing because there were not an "adult only" seal when you first came here, like it is on all adult oriented sites. This is simply not that kind of site, sorry.

It is Sad that the Others left, as they have sent me Messages at our Discussion Group that they took their Pictures with them. I am fortunate to have Friends like Robert and the Others. I must confess - I would like to know who the Complainers are and how it was that my Pictures were considered Pornography. All "Real People" - as you say - were created in the Poser Head Room. Complain to the Makers of Poser 5 that created such a Feature to allow such Parodies. And I had no Genital Contact in my Posts as you say. Certainly I showed Genitals, Herr Tormentor, but you best run and put a Fig Leaf over Michelangelo's "David," for his Penis is certainly there for all the Art Nazis who visit the Pride of Italy to see. I am afraid this Site is like all the Others with a Clique of small-minded People who would be more comfortable in a Fascist State as existed 65 Years ago to the shame of Europe. It seems to be quite Prevalent in Some who belong to this Group. Perhaps the Ghosts of Hitler and Mussolini and their Nordic Allies in Sweden are alive and well in the Hearts of those Who hate Nudity in Art - and call it "Pornography." Pornography? I seem to recall, Herr Tormentor, there is a Picture of some "Real Person" climbing in a Tub with a Posette Figure. A sad Thing, that what is good for Some, is not as good for Others. And really - I do not believe I will apologize to a Computer Software Program. I wonder what Herr Doctor Freud would say about such People who have a Fetish for a Poser Character called - Posy? I am certain you will remove this because you have shown your Heart of Censorship, but be sure, We will spread the Word of the Hypocrisy here - that is the Appreciation you receive . . .

I don't understand what all this fuss is about.
No one should have been suprised since, whenever someone registers at Posetteforever, they are presented with the rules, and by continuing with the registeration process they have acknowledged that they have read and accepted the rules. All actions and content issues mentioned in this thread/topic are covered by those rules.
A forum for staff memebers private discussions is not such a big issue to get all worked up about. Any time you have a group of people who have the responsibility to help maintain something be it a company, a charitible organization, or a site such as Posetteforever there is a need for a channel of commuications for discussion of issues and coordination. You have heard about staff meeting at work, well this forum is like a room for staff meetings at Posetteforever. That is all that it is, nothing more and nothing less.
All other sites have them too, somtimes via a forum and sometimes via a private mailing list. At Tapestery of Dreams we have such a forum. There have never been any such bad reation to it overthere.
Robert, also please remember that english is not Tormentor's primary language. Here is my interpretation of what I believe Tormentor was saying about that forum.
"Ok, I've just created a discussion group for discussions by the staff, all of whom are experienced members of PF. We will be revising the rules for the album so that they will be more clearly understood, so as to help avoid these sort of issues in the future."

I myself posted a picture awhile back that (I now know from this issue) was against the TOS, at the time I didn't think about it being against the tos and since nobody had said anything I never assumed otherwise. I have deleted the picture I did in question because I felt it wasn't right to have it posted there if it was doing what the other person's had done, which was to break the tos. I feel this site is very liberal and never thought of us as being anything like what was said above by Robert. I haven't a problem with the picture it just belongs on another site that allows more lax rules in what can and can't be shown. There are a number of adult orientated sites for 3d artists, I for one belong to one of them, so you see I'm not a prude, I just think that the picture in question here was not right for pf's album. (I removed mine for the same reason and should thought it might be against the tos. This was not about your picture, your art style, or you personelly it was only about a type of art that is not for this site. It's too bad you have to leave, it's a great place here and even if that piece of art wasn't allowed, you could always post your art that is.

I agree that there should be rules. I don't think this is nazish or something (can't understand this fashion to compare everything you don't like with the nazis ).
I'm still amused that some of my pictures aren't still deleted , if Tormie decides to delete them I'll not angry or blame someone. I even think you should delete them long time ago . Exspecially This one. Even I think is gory , despite that it's not so realistic. (Real life dead bodies are much more gory ) . About the child nudity is "Divine presence" ok? The are nude children in the picture ?

I didn't see the pics which caused this trouble but I just read this topic
.
It should be crystal clear for you, VonFranck, that your pics will be deleted - sooner or later!
1. this is Tormie's site and he sets the Rules (which you agreed to when you signed up).
2. almost every gallery has similar rules (especially about child nudity and no genitials) so probably this pics would be banned, deleted by other sites too
3) there are adult orientated Poser sites like Renderotica just for this kind of art
So, Tormie did the right thing to delete them and after your statement here to ban you!

There an axiom in usenet newsgroups and the fidonet echos:
Axiom: Given time every argument will degenerate to at least oneside accusing the other of nazism. Then there is this corollary of it: the first person to accuse the other of nazism has lost the argument.

Erenda, I agree with everything that JR said. Except I can not agree with the style of Nazi art, because, I am not familiar enough with it.
