After some light pressure by leahman ( ) I can finally present our new Video Chat Room, that is available HERE, the link is also available in the list under "Main links" on the left of the main page everytime.

(only registered users can use the room)

The software is provided by oovoo and it should work in the same way of Skype, you don't need to have the software installed to join the room, anyway, it will install activex controls if you're in Windows and it will ask to install the software on your Mac, if you've a Mac. Those files are not viruses.

It doesn't work on all the browsers, for example, on a Mac it will work only with Safari 3 and up.

The free version of oovoo should allow three persons to join the room ...

The Other   -controls the input level on your Microphone...

Turn them BOTH -up    Also be aware, that the program
can turn them DOWN— so keep an eye -on it
or we can't hear you !

Once in— it works very well. It is a lot of fun—
and it isn't every day
