Post Is the site sticking or is it me?

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the site being really slow or hanging up. I use an Explorer 5.5 and I have not had any problems till a few days ago. Had noticed the banner down below in the task bar and it seemed to have started then. If it's me then I'll just blow my computer up and build another one.

Oh, I noticed nothing strange, in any case I can remove the phrase in the status bar... The next year I'll search a different server to place the site, it seems to be slow sometimes. You are nearer than me to the site Kenny

I found out what it was. The site is fine.I had just downloaded Ad Aware 6.0 and I had over
121 spywares on the PC.Boy talking about being nosey. I got red of the pests and all is fine now.I don't think any changes will be needed to the site.

ad-aware rules!   i truly recommend it for anyone who surfs or searchs a fair amount.  some of the craziest sites leave TONS of spyware on your machine.  even if they aren't snooping for personal info (like acct names, numbers, emails addys, or where you're going) they still bog your computer down like crazy.

any of the about.com pages leave 20 or more tracking cookies in your system yay!  not to mention what google does everytime you use it to search.  don't get me wrong i love google but i hate anything that throws extra and/or useless files on my computer (i'm doing fair job of that myself i dont need any help, heh).

I'm happy that you found out what the problem was:) I have adaware too and it's great. I also have something called spyboot ( you can download it for free on the net). It also searches for spy programs, but there is a difference between the two programs.... that i don't remember. I searcch for different files any way. For example if have have run adaware and it found x spyfiles and i after that run spyboot, it will find spyfiles that adaware didn't and viceversa.  Just a tip

You cannot just run ad aware, some spywares are smarter, you should probably run a second one as well, do a search on google for Spybot.exe and hijackthis.exe run those ones as well. with spybot you can "Innoculate" your machine from known spyware entry points.....
