Post trojan horse virus

Hey guys not sure who or what but when I visited the site this morning I ended up with a trojan horse virus..came under the file name of audiorsv.exe.  I think it came from one of the audio files ..thought I would give you a heads up for everyone to check their systems

I checked all the audio files with norton and there is nothing. I'll make a full download of the site's files and I will check each one...

I downloaded all the files of the site and checked with norton, all is ok, no viruses   ! No problem messenger, a little control is what the site needs sometimes...

I put up the joke that you referred to. Since the file is in .wma format and consisting
only of audio, I can't see how an .exe could creep into your system.
There is no such file on my system, so it didn't originate from me.
You could have picked up that trojan virus anywhere, and it was probably set to launch on Mother's Day.

I wasn't sure how it happened..and I wasn't getting at anyone in particular..so I hope you don't think I was..sorry if you did, I was just concerned that there may have been a virus on the site that we could all have been infected.  I checked up on the virus and it is bascially one of the ones that sends itself out to other computers to get them infected too. But yes you are right it could have came from anywhere  but it is better to be safe than not say anything and end up being sorry.  And I am glad that your system is clean.  The trojan file itself is called trojan download I believe..and it just hides itself in your system and uses whatever files you upload to hide its exe file in..Anyway I just wanted to warn in case...

No problem messenger, thank you for the warning, it was the right kick to backup all the site (just in case...). I had a "worm" something on my window$ XP system some times ago and I had to buy norton... I don't know from where she came but it was in a directory...
It could be something on the Posetteforever server but I don't know... In any cases there are no executables in the forum files, only java like in the shoutbox or flash in the games. I hope you have terminated the bastard...
