Subject: Custom Transmap Hair For Posette
I have created a custom hairstyle for Posette. In my opinion, Poser 6 should have already had a hairstyle like this. Anyway, I have uploaded it to the Free Stuff Section under Hair Pour Femme. It consists of two mesh objects, which means you can adjust the length of the front hair independently of the long part of the hair by adjusting the offset of the transparency map. I also use a magnet on the long part of the hair to better control it. Can someone test it out to see if the stuff I uploaded works correctly? I hope someone can get some use out of this. Here are a couple of sample images. The hair also comes with burgundy textures.

:yeah: Thank you P4luvr :thanks:
Unfortunally I'm having some problems with the 3D acceleration on my system, so I'm out of Poser (again) at this time, and I cannot test it, but looks good.
I agree, Posette (and other characters) needed this :D :hugs:

Back to Poser, I made some additional posing and styling morphs for this (I prefer them to fiddling with a magnet)
I'll ask P4luvr for his o.k. and will upload the modified prop to this thread later...

:D O.k., here it is.
It is only the prop for the long hair with some morphs added. You'll need the original file from our free stuff for the bangs and the textures. The original posing magnet don't come with it either (as well as a readme  )
As I said, only the prop. I hope it's useful and fun :hug2:

Hey, ahjah. I downloaded your morphs for my hair prop. I didn't realize you had done that much work on it. It adds a lot of flexibility to it. Can you describe briefly how you moved the hair and created the extra morph dials? I would like to know how to create morphs like that. Thanks for the cool morphs! :D

:D Glad you like it. It wasn't too much work, really. About half an hour or so. I also used a magnet to make them.
I moved the mag base to the center of the head so all movement, especially rotation, starts there.
The mag zone was scaled to appr. two times the size of the hair, positioned with it's center at the lowest point of the hair itself, leaving the hair top slightly out of the zone. I use mesh view for the sphere for better visual control. That's the basic setup. Then I just played around with the mag itself, move, scale, rotate, but leave the base prop and the zone untouched, so the resulting morphs will play together well. For the behind ear morphs I scaled the zone down X and moved it on this axis to center at Posette's ear. For every new variation start from the basical setup, so everything will work together well.
Liking the result, select the hair and spawn as morph target. That's it :thumb:
If you like to load up an enhanced version of the hair, feel free to include my morphs :hug2:

Hope this helps...

Thanks for the explanation. I think I'll play around with making morphs for a while. :D
