Post Remember Dorkerina ?

There was a freebie at one time called Dorkerina.  It was the poor old P4 Dork man morphed into a woman that had insanely huge bazooms...
Now that was a Poser Nightmare...

Poor old Dork.

Now that morph would be a laugh to see

Although, I never quite held him in the same low regard as others around. Sure, in the immortal words of 'Red Dwarf', he has a head shaped like a novelty condom. But compared to the face that looked back at me from the mirror when I shaved, the guy was positively god like.

Still, I admit, he needs some work to fit the ideals of our CGI perfection.

I think it might still be in the Renderosity freebies...

He's like anything else in Poser: not much until you get started and really work with the model. With the right texture (instead of the out of the box colour arrangement) and a few well-chosen morphs, he can be one very hot dude. Add into that the fact that he's resource-lite (as opposed to Michael commanding every bit of processing he can get), and the P4Guy is positively a boon.

Hello Sean,

Good to see you around.

And I have to agree the P4 Guy can be manipulated into some pretty good forms with a bit of patience and perseverance.

It's just a pity he never got the attention that was lavished on some of the other (dare I say it, female) models around.

Still, that's a rant for another thread I think.

Mmmmh... I saw him not a long ago, I don't remember where (maybe Poserpros...) If he's still "alive" I will find him. I've a lot of Dork's freestuff and would be great to post in this section links where to find them. I checked any, but they are no longer working. So, A problem... If one post here a free stuff from a now-dead link is it a copyright infringment ?

Tormentor, it depends on the license given with the item. Without permission the copyright remains with the creator and it would be against the law to post the item even if it's unavailable elsewhere.

If the original zip file still has its 'readme' or 'copyright' text file that it came with, that should outline the usage and redistribution limitations, some items are available for unrestricted distribution. Or if you have the email for the creator you could write to them for permission to post the item. A lot of items are only unavailable because the creators have nowhere to host the item on line. Maybe you could make them an offer to host it here for a while

I have had a few third party items on a site of mine before with full permission of the creator. Most people are only too happy, if you ask first.

I was just working on this a little while ago. I don't/didn't think there would be any call or request for it. Mostly for me to have fun from modeling. I called it Dorkette. Still could use some more tweaking to get a better look but as I said it was for fun!

I've a lot of Dork's freestuff I never liked Mike facial expressions or the lack of them. But I never saw anything about a free character called Dorkerina! "He" or "she" must be very old!

Dorkett will be available. As soon as I post it in the free area. I still am going to work on it some more so this will be Version 1.
