I don´t know a lot about the higher versions of Poser, beeing still on P3, without transparency, reflection, displacement...
, but most of Tim Laubach´s (Happyworldland) textures are meant the lashes to be rendered solid, without transparency. To use them with tranparency, you´d need to turn the mats of the lashes to black, and use an external transmap like the one that comes with Thilda´s (TdaC) "Semi photorealistic texture" in our freebies ( I like her lipstex, too
