Hi Marv,

Thank you for posting this Link

It caused me a few sleepless nights in front of my PC, but i found some stuff that i thought i'd missed forever... such as sharkeys freebies and some clothing from awful soul i didn't even knew about.

There is a longdress on poserfashion.net from 2002 for Posette -  but the other links are broken so now i know now exactly what i missed!

Heite

PS: the broken files can be repaired easily by using winrar.

I'll bet if we all dusted off those CD's of accumulated freebies that we have been collecting over the years we would probably find quite a treasure. I know that I probably have a lot of free items that are hard to find still in my collection of downloads. How possible would it be to start a lost and found section Tormie?

Would be a lot of read me files out there and a lot of copyrights to go threw. Not to mention getting in touch with the maker of the models and textures.    Sounds like a great idea.

There is no telling how many I have in the good old days as well. To make it fun. We could make a treasure chest. Zip up some really cool stuff we have found. Get permission and do a mysterious package of the month for awhile until we run out of good things. Just an idea.

We have a place here Marv : http://www.posetteforever.com/boneyard63.html

We can't post the files without the permission of the author, the difficult thing of the process is to contact the author (find his actual address...) and wait their reply. In the past sometimes it worked, a lot of times not. After a while one become bored but personally I start again asking when I'm in the mood.

'Intellectual Property' is one reason I cannot post eg Joat Mon's JulieSuit to freebies...

D'uh, I've unpacked several Gb of ancient zips this week, have come to dread some authors' work: Yes, you know the style-- Everything, *everything* piled into root, textures 'externalled' to a non-existent D:drive or 'Mom'sUploads' directory, no indication which figure or variant is conform target, clumsy poke-throughs routinely concealed by 'hide', the most mild poses causing wrap-ups. And, sadly inadequate, contradictory, incoherent or simply *NO* ReadMe file...

Sad part is I've come to recognise their styles, begun to learn work-arounds and how to fix the basic gaffes with CR2Edit...

Hmm, my archive has just yielded a bunch of impossibly cute 'Race Queen' costumes by 'teppan'. Sadly, like JoatMon, teppan has dropped off the wwweb. Worse, teppan did NOT add read-me files. I've just about eliminated conformance to Posette variants and morphs, so perhaps they're for MayaDoll, whom I'll try next...

I suppose I could rip the OBJ from their CR2/PP2, wiggle them in Anim8tor and re-import them...

D'uh, I'm still reading through my notes and downloaded tuts, so the joys of grouping, JointParameters etc are not for today !!
