Last night at our weekly meeting of my band "United Generation", our second singer and trumpet player Alex as well as our drummer Chis announced their leave to the band. After our bass man had quit two month ago already ( I left my guitar and took his place since then), it looks as if the band broke completely now.
Me,myself will still have enough chances to make music in the future, but it´s very sad anyway, I´ll miss the pretty good time we had together...
We still have two gigs to play, and maybe they´ll change their minds, but to be honest, I don´t have much hope, shit happens

i'm sorry to hear that. i'm sure its disappointing but its good to hear you still plan on making music on your own. *hugs*

I have had really good bands myself come and go. All the charting and getting every note right. To some it is just 60 to 90 minutes of music. But to us it goes on after they leave. We are practicing again for another gig. All the sound mixes and setting up the programs for the midi patches in the boards as well as on the guitars are a pain. Sound checks and light checks. The stress as well as the excitement of being up there and no matter how you hurt from the swelling of joints in the fingures you still crack a smile.
........The cacoon becomes a butterfly all over again. If I was over there I would love to help you. So seeing how that is not so, I thought this would help you on your quest. Keep rockin!
