Post Big Power Cannister Vacuum

I found a "Big Power" vacuum today at a second hand store for $7.50 with a bunch of attachements. It turns on when I plugged it in and seems to work but I know nothing about this vacuum. I did find out it's made in Italy and is quiet an expesive vacuum and does a lot of stuff. Davide do you know anything about these? Anyone? No instructions came with it due to it being used and in a second hand store so I could use any help if anyone knows how to use them.

Thanks

hahah, well I hope it sucks kenny, otherwise I got ripped off

It is made in Italy, so I figured you might have heard of it Davide, guess you like the German imports better lol

All I know is that it does everything but cook for you, and costs about 1800.00 new. I emailed a website I found that sells and servies them so hopefully they can give me more info on how to use it.

You are on 220 volts there in Italy aren't you Davide?
Some can be stepped down to 110 and have an adapter put on them for the ac plug in. Then some have a switch that selects it from 220 to 110.

http://www.bigpower.net/

There is the address to one of the sites. As for the 110, well the plug on this one seems to work fine for our electricity, I think they make them for the US as well as for Italy and other Countries. I found another site that has them that is located in Springfield Oregon USA

Oh if you have heard of Rainbow vacuum's they are very similar to the Big Power vacuum. They both use water in them.

After you see the picture you may understand why I"m not calling mine "R2D2" lol It looks like the robot from star wars

They use water instead of bags. Yes we use to have one. They are good for keeping the pollen down for all of you hey fever sufferers. It stopped working 21 years. Would recommend it.   Also yes they are about 1200.00 here and you got one heck of a deal on that one.

Did you have a Rainbow or the "Big Power" type? My bf's sister has a rainbow I guess but I've never used one. I think if this one works I did make a good deal and I may even have it check over and if it's all working good I may try and sell it on ebay and see if I can make a good profit

My grandparents had an upright kirby when I was a kid, they gave it to my mom when I was in my late teens (they had it refurbushed then) and they bought a new one. My mom ended up giving the old kirby to me after I was married and I had it for years. For an upright vacuum a Kirby just can't be beat in my opinion
