Post What I'm doing....

Only to tell you about what I'm doing in this period: It's nothing Poser or art related: A friend of my brother gave him an old scooter for free and we're fixing it just for fun. It was in very bad condition but I've already fixed the engine and the transmission   and cleaned all the parts related. In september when the shops will open again I'l put on the thermal group a bigger engine (I have already it but it needs an intervenction with a precision machine on the cylinder) and I'm buying the missing parts on ebay. Today we went to the paint shop to buy the colors, I'll paint it with my compressor. I'll take some photos of the work to show it better   .

... And there is a precise phrase to describe what I've done today with that scooter, I "broke my a(censorship)" working on it

As I promised here are some photo of the scooter that I'm fixing. Ok, I know that it's not art related   but I've mechanic in my hobbies list   You can see some parts of the scooter already painted in mint green :droll2:, today i put on the a layer of trasparent color to make them brilliant. Then there is the fixed amd painted telar before the painting of some parts which will be visible. There is also a part of the exhaust pipe, it needs a heavy fix and I don't know if it could be restored , it's an exhaust for competitions (at last the scooter won't be 100% "legal"    ).

Today I painted the other parts in a grey-light blue metal color and painted on all the part the transparent-brilliant layer but I've to finish the work tomorrow. I'll show you all the parts painted.

Because we're in auguts and nearly all shops are closed the scooter will be on the road probably at the half of september   ...

You should wonder why Tormie has so much time for his useless works... I'll tell you tomorrow       ...

Update: The scooter is nearly finished, tomorrow I'll take some photos and show them to you   . Today I got the engine ready from the shop and mounted it and half a hour ago we started it for the first time... It started   , but a lot of smoke   because while assembling the engine i put a lot of oil on the cylinder and piston... So I think that tomorrow we'll go in the middle of the country to fix the carburation or my neighbours will kill me   ...

That is good news!

You can fix that problem at home.  Step one, get a lot of empty cans of Pork and beans or baked beans.  Step two, put them where your neighbors can see them when they come to complain.  Step three get a dirty, apron with bean stains.  Step four do the repair work.

Then when a neighbor comes to complain make sure they know that you have been eating the beans,  while working on a new recipe.    Tell them that you didn't know the smell would travel so far. Then mention that you feel the bean working.
