Opensource and stable is nice. It's the incompability of software and the fact you need to program so much to get anything to work that's annoying

I learned to use a computer when my ex started a bbs using wildcat software. We had 3 lines going into it and 2 US Robotic 128 external modems during it's last year of being up. Oh those were the good ol days..before internet came to town and showed us what we were missing lol

Well now.... It's like that is it :bigrinnin:

When I first started using computers we had to make our own 'bing-bing' noises with our mouths because the computer didn't have any speakers... well I call it a computer, but the keyboard was an old typeweiter just stuck in front of a black & white tv...and when we sent email, we had to catch the bus to deliver the message across town... and that was on a good day. And we had to do it barefoot with no breakfast because breakfast hadn't been invented yet. Or the phone. Hadn't heard of electricity either, we had to turn a hand crank on the side...

:-({|=

Python sketch here somewhere :)

gee you guys had it good, I had to walk 50 miles in the snow uphill both ways to deliver email, and couldn't even warm myself up because fire hadn't been invented yet. Our idea of sending messages to another person was picking up a large rock and throwing it at their head to get their attention, then grunting aimlessly until some big hairy dude grabed me by the hair and drug me off to his cave to have cybersex. Oh those were the days.... :)

Now I remember how it was.... :lmao:
