If you don't know, we've installed a Video Chat Room into the site at this link .

We use to meet on saturdays, and I want to start this topic in order to meet there at the same time, that usually is afternoon/evening here in Central Europe Timezone that should be morning in American East Timezone...

In any case, here is a nice worldclock, it's set at GMT ( 0 )



Simply drag the mouse on the desired timezone, your country or another, and you'll see what time is it there and you'll know the difference...

Remember that you don't need any software, once you click the link, the required controls will install by themselves (nothing dangerous for your PC or Mac), and even if you don't have a webcam, you need only a microphone to chat with us ! The language is American English , but there, they are also used to my Spaghetti English , so don't worry...  I hope to meet many of you, we're having a lot of fun !!

Frequent~Farter

As usually happens a BIG MESS happened today at the very crucial moment:

-The site wasn't reachable probably for a server shoutdown on Godaddy (it said "Couldn't connect to the database" at just the right time for the chat...)

-We discovered, just in time, that the oovoo account for more than 2 people videochatting together lasts only one month   than you've to pay    

So it took me a hour to figure it out... Obviously oovoo stores its information somewhere in the Mac or the PC so making a new account and a new fresh month was not so easy, at least at the first try.

At the second try I made it so we've the room back   and everyone can join it (up to 8 people) for a month, then I've to remember to make the same trick
I could even buy it but the problem is that they charge 12$ for each month and they don't say if they would charge automatically for the next month   so I haven't bought it...

If you want to laugh, I couldn't even contact anyone, so I phoned directly to leahman's home to explain what was going on   (it was very nice, like if we would be neighbours   )

... So, wherever you live, if the phone rings and a strange guy talking half Italian and half English is on the line , don't break the phone cord   ...

I've to say sorry to Groucho, he came in but the room accepted only two people ... I was out too, btw the room is working now so we've another chat scheduled for next saturday at the same time, this time it will work. I hope to find many of you there, today there were me, Robert (leahman) and Rene (Guiltypleasures) ...

It was fun even though there was some mess at the begining but Tormie fixes all and it worked out fine in the end, well except for poor Groucho who tried to enter but couldn't and then had to do some family stuff but hopefully next Sat we can all meet there again for all that want to join in.

Ahhh hmm, Tormie if you call me and start breathing heavy and then I hear FART sounds I'm hanging up and calling 911!   hehehe, just kidding, I wouldn't mind a bit to hear you call with your "spaghetti english"    

Oh and everyone who hasn't had the pleasure of meeting our illustrious leader Tormie, well let me assure you he doesn't look anything like his Avatar (the big hand)
