Hi

I wanted to make some comments in the new album but I don't
see a comment box or area to let me do this.
Am I missing something ?

Any suggestions ?

If I remember this right you go to the New Album andon the top right there is another
log in. Click it and it will ask you for password and your site name and it should log you in to post comments.
If that fails then delete your cookies and log in again. That should work. Tell Den I said Hi.

What! They still don't work?

In the album, it still sees me as a guest.
I went to the above topic and deleted the cookies and tried again.
Same problem.

I asked Den to help with this.
He manually deleted the cookie entry in the Windows/Cookie directory, but I still have the same problem.
This PC and Den's PC both use Firefox. Den doesn't have this problem on his PC.
He doesn't understand why it doesn't work either.

It tells me to register when I go to the album.

Oh well.

Try restoring Explorer in the systems information. When that is done put all settings in the explorer back to default settings. Check your firewall and make sure it has not made changes to the security of the browser. Delete cookies again manually and try that. I have had the same problems. But it is fine now. Hope this helps Mic.

I now have the same problem.  I didn't have a problem until today.
All OTHER sites work, no matter where I visit.

I have discovered the problem...

If you don't check the box that says "Remember me when I log-in", when you log in,
you can't access the album.
I checked the box and all seems to be OK.
The problem appears to be in your coding of the log-in procedure Davide.
Not everyone automatically cheks the "Remember me" box.

Anyway, that is how my problem was solved.

The radio button is not automatically checked because there are people who don't connect from their home. It's not my coding, refer to http://phpbb.com if you've problems, they have a nice support section.

Irregardless of whose coding it is, that's where the "problem" lies.
Nobody should have to go to phpbb.com because of problems that have nothing to do with not being
able to access a portion of a site.
I don't see how me asking them can help with the problem here .

You need a professional webmaster Den Tracy, phpbb.com is full of them. I can do nothing more than write what I wrote in my little tutorials. The site works in this way: not perfectly.
But fortunately the web is full of professional sites to choose .

I solved easily the problems of other users. All the people here know that I'm not a pro coder, I'm doing what I can. As I said, after a week of work, I'm opening a topic about the album to know the opinion of the users and do what they decide.

At last, Den Tracy, in clear words, I'm tired of your continuous attempts to spread dirt on Posetteforever or coverly attack my work here. More clearly: if you don't like the site you have a whole world of other Poser related places who will be honoured to have you and your art on them, but if you don't like them, phpBB is a free software: all you need is a host to put it and create your errorless great site, with all my blessings and all the people you need from here and the full refund of your subscription: all the money that you paid for the disgusting service of Posetteforever will be refunded to you till the last cent.

Posetteforever is not a service like your bank, it's only a site made for fun.

Let's get one thing crystal clear.
There is no ongoing personal attack against you or the site going on in forums elsewhere.

I was not blaming you, but relaying that the info in the tutorial could not solve the problems that we
were having.
I know that you are not a professional coder.

Show me the topics.  Link to them so that all can see.
If someone is claiming to be me, elsewhere,  I would like to find this person and take the

I do not post in forums and have nothing personally against you or this site.
I have never posted comments about this site ANYWHERE as a former admin or as
a member, making fun of you or the site or criticising it.
Go to Renderosity, PoserPros, PlanIt 3D, Sixus 1 and 3D Commune and see my forum posts.
There aren't any that mention the word "Posetteforever" or "Davide" or "Tormentor".

Where are you finding this covert information or hearing it from ?
I would like to know.
Perhaps what we have here is   " mole"

Den was just helping out.
All in all if we could be a team again then maybe we could fix things. Just because it's broke or
out of order a little bit doesn't mean it can't be fixed.
If all this time the negative and the hurt between you two goes on with the spirit
gone as well. Davide did good even though he is not a coder, Den you have to give a little credit
there but even so the person that was by your side from the get go has given you a bit of help as well Davide
which leads to distruction of the spirit of this place. Oh by the way I never thought it was a mole but that damn beaver named Puddin face of GP's. Anywho I'll ring the bell and we can start round two so just forget I came in and have at it.

For the record:

Davide has done an excellent job setting up the site from day one and I have mentioned that
in many of my posts here.  As far as I know, those posts should still be viewable.

It takes a lot of effort to run a website and I am not taking that credit away from you, Davide.

There is no hidden agenda on my part to sabotage this or any other site.

I have no grudge against you Davide, but you definitely have one with me.
