There is talk about ppl having trouble to access pf over at rosity. The thread is in the Poser forum and the title is:  PosetteForever gone?

People were guessing bannings of firefox and so on. I answered to the thread, this is what i wrote: Hello, i am a mod at posetteforever.com. The site has not closed. The hosting company has had troubles and several sites hosted has been down. If you continue to have problems please  email and we will try to help you.

I experienced some slow response of this site, lately, too. Independently of the browser I'm using (I'm switching Firefox/Opera sometimes, at the momennt on FF@Ubuntu Linux )
But it's not as bad as over at Planit3D. They are having problems with their forums since about three weeks, being offline completely from time to time. In their case, it seems to be a php/sql problem thou.
It would be sad if people would be leaving us just for some technical problems   
I hope it will be fixed, soon

Dear friends, I experienced nothing wrong here, but maybe it's because the time zone is different. However Godaddy, where the site is hosted, sometimes gave us problems, but honestly they solved them after a little while.
And above all we don't have to give a "service", the site can even be offline for a while, where is the problem? If you like the site you stay , if you don't stay it's not for technical reasons...

I had similar problems last week, if there is a "server not found" it could be that the server is down or you can't reach the site for network or DNS problems, in my case it was DNS problem by my ISP.

But... when you had problem connecting to the site   ?

I know, I shouldn't say this cos I'm from Germany and dphoadley2 is from Israel, but I really don't like his style.

I had a slow responding site about last week from time to time. It was always reachable, but slow responding,  ~1min til it started loading, thats pretty long on adsl. Might have been caused on DNS problems, too

No, in this case I think its a problem on the server or with the server fo the database, if it will continue I'll move the database on another server.

You should not be ashamed or blocked by these things, I know the feeling, in my job every time you say something to a stranger, a black man for example, he pulls out the "racism" thing in order to cover himself. I think that dphoadley knows well how to use this kind of tactic, but PF is not exactly the kind of field where people like him can play because as far as I'm concerned here the nationality is not important.
