Ok.. I'll try to keep this short..
My contract for the room I'm renting is expiring soon.
I thought it was untill the end of this month, because I pay the rent on the 1st of every month.
Well, it's not. It's the 15th. Which is in four days.
So I have to be out of the room by that time, which is rather problematic seeing as I live a 8-9 hour car drive from home.
I've already paid out this month, so I asked if I couldn't stay untill then.
'No' they said. They'll refund the surplus along with my deposit they said.
Why? Because they've already rented out the room to someone else for when I've left.

Now technically, according to the contract they're in their full right.
However, I've gotten no notifications that the contract was about to expire, no questions or proportion of continuing renting the room. Hell, I haven't even gotten a notification that they're renting out the room as soon as I leave.
I find this pretty immoral and unethical.. unfortunately, it doesn't really look like it's much I can do.

Now, these landlords have basically been shafting us all the way. Since the first day, something's always been wrong.
There was a point we had to threaten to hold back some of our rent if they didn't get their asses to the house and fixs alot of shit that was supposed to be fixed long ago.
Basically, something they'd procrastinated for two months took them about two days to fix.

I've talked with my mother, who'll try and rally someone to drive down here.
But only four days.. fuck me.

I'm just outright disgusted with them right now..

One word.....
Squat!!!
be a squatter for a few day's. Most they can do is turn off the power and the water....
Let them know you will be out in a few day's....

I don't know anything about the laws in your country so I can suggest you nothing about it.., Also, I don't know if your school has a vacation period, if it is near, you could consider to place yourself in a hotel for a short time.   A tent could be a solution...   Maybe under a bridge...

Anyway, don't panic, use your internet connection to find a new room, 4 days could be enough... (It's nearly midnight, so there are only >3< days left    ... And the weekend is coming )

You can even talk and ask for help  to your teachers, if you licked well their asses during lessons they could help you... They know al lot of people...

Italian solution: ignore what they said, stop pay them and stay there, go to a doctor and obtain a paper that say that you're ill and can't move. Change the door locks and resist. If I were you I would do in this way plus the destruction of the room.

Console yourself, these things use to happen to students... Keep us informed. In any case if we won't know anything more about you, my best regards since now DV  

Yah just stick it out and don't answer the door.They have to take you to court in my country and then it is required a 30 day for you to move.Then if you don't they give you 3 more and have the police come and throw the people that live there asses out of the place.So I would go with the Landman squat principal.Because you do this they can't do Jack Squat about it.Screw em.I hope that helped you.

Landlords are the result of lawyers taking a shit !  
They're all a bunch of money grabbin' dickheads...

    


You can even find a pregnant woman, pay her to stay there when the police come...

When all is finished, remember to wait the landord near his home during a night without moon.

Or even super glue your ass to the toilet seat.That always seems to work.
